Duquesa de Cambridge visita escola em Manchester/ Duchess of Cambridge visits School in Manchester

Catherine visitou ontem a Escola Primária Willows na localidade de Wythenshawe, Manchester para o lançamento da sua nova iniciativa (M-PACT - Moving Parents and Children Together)de caridade associada a dois dos seus patronatos, Place2Be e Action on Addiction.

The Duchess visited The Willows Primary School in Wythenshawe, Manchester to launch a new charity initiative (M-PACT - Moving Parents and Children Together) involving her patronages Place2Be and Action on Addiction.

Esta iniciativa foi promovida no sentido de ajudar famílias afectadas pelo abuso de álcool ou outras substâncias, numa pareceria que também envolve fundos da Royal Foundation, da qual Catherine faz parte juntamente com o marido William e o cunhado Harry e da Comic Relief, que foi representada pelo comediante John Bishop.  Este novo programa irá combinar o esforço do Place2Be no aconselhamento de pais e crianças nas escolas com a experiência de largos anos da Action on Addiction na ajuda a famílias afectadas pelo flagelo da dependência de substâncias.

The Duchess launched this programme designed to help families affected by alcohol and substance abuse, a partnership that also involves fundings by the Royal Foundation, which Catherine represents along with her husband William and her brother-in-law, Harry and from the Comic Relief, which was represented by the comedian John Bishop. The new programme combines Place2Be's in-school counselling for children and parents with the expertise of Action on Addiction's in helping families affected by the scourge of substance dependence.

Durante a visita a Duquesa conheceu voluntários e equipa de apoio aos serviços de acompanhamento psicológico juvenil da Place2Be, bem como crianças que estão a beneficiar com este trabalho.

The Duchess met staff and volunteers from youth mental health services charity  Place2Be, and children who have benefited from its work.

Estudos sugerem que mais de um milhão de crianças no Reino Unido estão a viver em lares onde o consumo de drogas e álcool por parte dos seus pais desempenha um enorme impacto no bem-estar e educação destas crianças. Neste sentido Action on Addition irá formar, supervisionar e ajudar os conselheiros da  Place2Be de forma a fazer chegar esta iniciativa a vários pólos escolares em Inglaterra.

Research suggests that more than a million children in the UK are living in homes where parental drug and alcohol use has a detrimental impact on their wellbeing and education. Action on Addiction will train, supervise and support Place2Be counsellors to deliver the programme in school settings across England.

No final da visita, Catherine e John Bishop plantaram uma árvore para simbolizar o inicio desta iniciativa, no exterior da escola. 

At the end of the visit, Catherine and John Bishop planted a Willow tree to symbolize the beginning of this initiative, outside the school.

Agora que o sol apareceu, a duquesa parece ter decidido colocar os casacos de parte e surgir com bonitos vestidos que deixam ver o seu cada vez mais avançado estado de gravidez. Aos seis meses de gestação, Catherine apareceu nitidamente resplandecente para este evento.

Now that the sun appeared, the Duchess seems to have decided to put the coats aside and come up with beautiful dresses that let show their increasingly advanced state of pregnancy. At six months pregnant, Catherine appeared distinctly bright for this event.

A duquesa optou pelo vestido Sophia da marca Erdem. Uma peça da colecção Primavera-Verão 2013 da marca britânica. O vestido em seda, tem um padrão floral na vertical, decote quadrado, mangas até ao cotovelo e é ligeiramente mais curto à frente. O padrão floral é denominado de "Visconti", e é uma espécie de assinatura da marca. Para completar o visual, Kate escolheu peças já nossas conhecidas: sapatos em camurça azul-marinho, clutch "Muse" também em azul marinho da marca Russel and Bromley, os seus brincos de pérolas Anoushka e o seu pendente Asprey.

The Duchess chose the Sophia dress by Erdem. A piece from the Spring-Summer 2013 Collection of the British brand. The silk dress has a floral pattern in the vertical, square neckline, sleeves to the elbow and is slightly shorter in front. The floral pattern is called "Visconti print", and is a kind of signature of the brand. To complete the look, Kate chose some pieces already known: suede navy blue shoes, the "Muse" clutch also in navy by Russell and Bromley, her Anoushka pearl  drops earrings and the Asprey pendent

Gostei imenso do visual. Mas a duquesa tem um estilo que já não me surpreende. Demasiado previsível  apesar de (quase) sempre apropriado. Durante esta semana Catherine estará presente em mais dois eventos. Aguardem mais posts.

I really enjoyed this look. But the Duchess has a style that does not surprise me anymore. Too predictable, although (almost) always appropriate. During this week, Catherine will attend in two more events. Wait for more posts.
