Que comecem as Cerimónias de Entronização / Let the Enthronement Ceremonies begin

No seu último dia como Herdeiros do Trono, Príncipe Willem Alexander e a Princesa Máxima, acompanhados das suas filhas as Princesas Catharina-Amalia, Alexia e Ariane, chegaram durante a manhã ao Palácio Dam para um último ensaio da cerimónia de Investidura que terá lugar na Nieuwe Kerk (Nova Igreja) em Amesterdão no dia 30.
On their last day as Crown Princes, Prince Willem Alexander and Princess Maxima, accompanied by their daughters Princesses Catharina-Amalia, Alexia and Ariane, arrived in the morning to the Dam Palace for a last rehearsal for the Investiture Ceremony which will take place in the Nieuwe Kerk (New Church) in Amsterdam on the 30th.

O casal estava feliz e respondeu com simpatia à multidão de gente que se concentra nas ruas para assistirem às cerimónias. As meninas vestidas de forma semelhante, estavam tranquilas e também elas bastante sorridentes. Pudera...Não são todos os dias que crianças assistem á coroação dos seus pais.
The couple was happy and responded sympathetically to the crowd of people that focuses on the streets to watche the ceremonies. The girls dressed similarly, they were also very quiet and smiling. No surprisise in here: There are very few children who watch their parents become King and Queen.
Jantar de Gala / Gala Dinner
No seu último dia como Rainha, Beatrix ofereceu um jantar aos convidados reais e não reais no Rijksmuseum. Portanto, vamos falar de vestidos e tiaras, sim?

A Rainha Beatrix na sua despedida brilhou num modelo em tons lilás e usou a Wurttemberg Ornate Pearl Tiara, na sua versão completa com as pérolas de topo. Máxima optou pelo vermelho num vestido Valentino já usado em 2006.
Como jóias Máxima brilhou ao máximo com a sua favorita Rose Cut Diamond Bandeau Tiara e o colar Diamond Riviere da Rainha Emma.
Queen Beatrix in her farewell choose a model in lilac tones and used the Württemberg Ornate Pearl Tiara, on its full version with the top pearls. Maxima opted for a red Valentino gown already used in 2006.
Maxima shone like jewels with her favorite Rose Cut Diamond Bandeau Tiara and Diamond Riviere Necklace of Queen Emma.

A Princesa da Coroa Vitória da Suécia optou pela sua tiara de ametistas, e também esteve muito bem com um bonito vestido roxo Elie Saab com pormenor floral num ombro.
Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden opted for her Amethysts Tiara , and also did very well with a pretty Elie Saab purple dress with floral detail on the shoulder.

A Princesa da Coroa Mette-Marit da Noruega escolheu um modelo Giambattista Valli em tons suaves e detalhes florais que não consigo decidir se gosto ou odeio. A completar o visual a sua Daisy Diamond Tiara, que quase passa desapercebida (e eu não consigo perceber aquela pulseira turquesa...).
Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway chose a Giambattista Valli soft colors and floral details pattern new dress that I can not decide if I like or hate it. Completing the look her Daisy Diamond Tiara, which is almost unnoticed ( and i can´t understand that turquoise bracelet).

A Princesa da Coroa Mathilde da Bélgica apareceu deslumbrante num modelo branco em cetim, de corte assimétrico e com uma ligeira cauda. Digna de uma passadeira vermelha. Como jóias ela usou a sua habitual Diamond Laurel Wreath Tiara.
The Crown Princess Mathilde of Belgium appeared in a stunning white satin model, the asymmetrical cut and a slight tail. Worthy of a red carpet. As jewelry she wore her usual Diamond Laurel Wreath Tiara.

Stephanie, Grã-Duquesa Hereditária do Luxemburgo escolheu Elie Saab num vestido em tons azul-cinza que teima em esconder com aquelas encharpes Apesar de não ser grande fã deste vestido, penso que poderia brilhar mais sem aquele acessório que parece ser a imagem de marca da mais recente princesa herdeira da Europa (Não contemos ainda com Catharina-Amalia. :P). Para completar o visual, Steph escolheu a Grand-duchess Marie-Adelaide's Tiara também conhecida por Nassau Sapphire Tiara.
Stephanie, Hereditary Grand Duchess of Luxembourg chose an Elie Saab gown in blue-gray tones that she insists on hiding with those scarfs. Although I´m not a big fan of this dress, I think it could shine more without that accessory that seems to be the hallmark of the newest Crown Princess of Europe (We are not yet count ingwith Catharina-Amalia.: P). To complete the look, Steph chose the Grand-Duchess Marie-Adelaide's Tiara also known as Nassau Sapphire Tiara.

A own category for Crown Princess Letizia of Spain. Perhaps because the last time she wore a tiara was on Princess Victoria of Sweden wedding in 2010, perhaps because she was simply stunning! A gorgeous dress by Felipe Varela (who else?) that emphasized the stylized figure of Letizia. A complete visual with the Mellerio Floral Tiara. Many criticize Letizia by her black choice. I don´t care, I don´t want to hear. Letizia was beautiful and wearing a tiara. I´m happy!!

A Princesa de Marrocos é sempre das mais elegantes damas neste tipo de eventos. Este não foi excepção. De cabelos soltos num simples vestido tradicional branco, a esposa do rei de Marrocos usou uma tiara aparentemente desconhecida e longos brincos de diamantes.
The Princess of Morocco is always one of the most elegant ladies in this kind of events. This was no exception. Hair down in a simple white traditional dress, the wife of the King of Morocco wore a tiara apparently unknown and long diamond earrings.

Como já se sabia o Príncipe de Gales e a sua esposa, Camilla, Duquesa da Cornualha deram o ar de sua graça no grande acontecimento do ano. A surpresa foi essa mesmo. Quanto a escolha de roupas, Camilla optou por um vestido preto e branco, com pequenos cristais bordados na parte de cima. Escolheu uma das suas tiaras habituais a Boucheron Honey Comb Tiara.
As already knew the Prince of Wales and his wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall gave us the privilege of their presence in the big royal event of the year. The surprise was that one. Regarding the choice of clothes, Camilla opted for a black and white dress, embroidered with small crystals on top. Chose one of their usual tiaras the Boucheron Honey Comb Tiara.
Com muita pena minha a Princesa Masako do Japão não compareceu ao jantar. Talvez apareça hoje na cerimónia de Entronização. Façam figas!!
To my regret Crown Princess Masako of Japan did not attend the dinner. She may appear today in Enthronement ceremony. Keep your fingers crossed!
