Visita de Estado da Holanda ao Canadá /State Visit from The Netherlands to Canada

As visitas oficiais não param entre as nossas casas reais favoritas. 
Ontem Willem-Alexander e Maxima da Holanda iniciaram uma visita de estado que os leva até ao Canadá e Estados Unidos. Ontem no primeiro dos três dia que o casal real estará no Canadá, o foco vai MESMO para o Jantar de Estado oferecido pelo Governador Geral em Ottawa.
Official visits do not stop among our favorite royal houses.
Yesterday Willem-Alexander and Maxima of the Netherlands began a state visit that takes them to Canada and the United States. Yesterday in the first of three days that the royal couple will be in Canada, the focus goes INDEED for the State Dinner hosted by the Governor General in Ottawa.

Mas antes disso, à chegada a Ottawa, o casal foi recebido pelo Governador Geral do Canadá, Mr. David Jonhston e pela sua esposa Sheron.
But before that, on arrival in Ottawa, the couple was received by the Governor General of Canada, Mr. David Johnston and his wife Sheron.

De entre os vários compromissos na agenda, destaque para a deposição de uma coroa de flores juntos do Memorial para combatentes da Primeira Grande Guerra.
Among the various commitments on the agenda, we highlight the laying of a wreath of flowers on the First World War Memorial.

Como é habitual em visitas ilustres, os soberanos holandeses também plantaram uma árvore em Rideau Hall.
As usual in illustrious visitors, the Dutch sovereign  couple also planted a tree at Rideau Hall

Antes disso tiveram direito ao habitual passeio de Carruagem até ao Rideau Hall.
Before that were entitled to the usual carriage ride to the Rideau Hall.
E saudaram centenas de populares que se aglomeravam para saudar o casal real.
And greeted hundreds of popular crowding to welcome the royal couple.

De noite o casal foi convidado de honra para um Jantar de Estado oferecido pelo Governador Geral e pela sua esposa.
At night the couple was guest of honor for a State dinner hosted by the Governor General and his wife.

Durante este primeiro dia de visita a Rainha da Holanda desiludiu na parte da manha, com um conjunto NATAN que a envelheceu bastante (adoraria ver o vestido sem aquele casaco de renda por cima)..
During this first day of visit the Queen of Netherlands disappointed in the morning, with a NATAN set that has aged her enough (I would love to see the dress without that lace coat on) ...

Por isso prefiro destacar o único elemento do look que gostei, a clutch fuscia CARLEND COPENHAGEN que tem um irmão gémeo no closet da Princesa Mary da Dinamarca.
So I prefer to highlight the only element of the look that I really liked, the fuscia CARLEND COPENHAGEN clutch which has a twin sister  in the closet of Princess Mary of Denmark.

Mas Maxima deslumbrou à noite.
But Maxima dazzled at night.


Confesso que já tinha saudades de ver Máxima com rubis. A Rainha consorte da Holanda não me deixou ficar mal e escolheu o requintado Peacock Tail Motif Parure que combinou com um fantástico novo vestido fuscia da criação de BENITO FERNANDEZ.
I confess that I have been longing to see Maxi with rubies again. The Queen consort of the Netherlands did not let me down and chose the exquisite Peacock Tail Motif Parure which combined with a fantastic new  fuscia dress by BENITO FERNANDEZ.
