O Rei Carl Gustaf e a Rainha Sílvia acompanhados pela Princesa da Coroa Victoria e pelo Príncipe Daniel compareceram ao 90ª Aniversário da Rádio Sueca, no Berwald Hall. Uma noite de celebração com a actuação de vários artistas, e com a participação da Orquestra Sinfónica da Rádio Sueca e do Coro da Rádio Sueca.
King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia accompanied by Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel attended the 90th Anniversary of the Swedish Radio in the Berwald Hall. A night of celebration with performances by various artists, and with the participation of the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Swedish Radio Choir.

As duas princesas e amigas participaram no Klimapilegrim 2015 (qualquer coisa como Peregrinação pelo Clima) na fronteira entre a Noruega e Suécia. O movimento começou na Noruega em Junho e tem como objectivo Paris, onde se realizará em Dezembro a Conferência das Nações Unidas para as Alterações Climáticas. Pretende-se uma mobilização pela justiça climática.
The two princesses and friends participated in Klimapilegrim 2015 (something like the Climate Pilgrimage) on the border between Norway and Sweden. The movement began in Norway in June and aims Paris, where will take place in December the UN Conference on Climate Change. It is intended to mobilize for climate justice.

Através da Peregrinação convida-se à reflexão sobre o tema, enquanto se recolhe assinaturas para uma petição a apresentar em Paris a exigir um novo acordo internacional de modo a abrandar as alterações climáticas do nosso planeta.
Through Pilgrimage, participants are invited to reflect on the theme, while collecting signatures for a petition to be presented in Paris to demand a new international agreement to slow climate change on our planet.

É engraçado notar que algo tão científico como as alterações climáticas é referenciado neste movimento também sobre o ponto de vista religioso. Prova disso foram os dois serviços religiosos que antecederam e se seguiram à Caminhada. Em solo sueco, as duas Princesas em vestidos muito leves regaram uma árvore durante a missa.
It's funny to note that something as scientific as climate change is referenced in this movement also on the religious point of view. Proof of this were the two religious services leading up to and following the walk. On Swedish soil, the two Princesses in very light dresses watered a tree during Mass.

Já que falámos em água, quando se comemora a Semana Mundial da Água,  a Princesa sueca entregou no passado dia 25, o Stockholm Junior Water Prize.
Since we talked in water, it's World Water Week, and the Swedish Princess delivered on the 25th, the Stockholm Junior Water Prize.

O vencedor deste ano, Perry Alagappan, tem actualmente 18 anos e vem dos Estados Unidos. Perry desenvolveu um filtro de água que remove cerca de 99% dos metais pesados da água, resultantes de lixo electrónico, tais como o mercúrio, cádmio e chumbo. O filtro pode ser usado para uso doméstico ou industrial.
This year's winner, Perry Alagappan, aged 18 comes from USA. Perry developed a water filter which removes about 99% of the heavy metals from water resulting from electronic waste, such as mercury, cadmium and lead. The filter can be used for domestic or industrial use.

" Comecei a interessar-me por purificação de água quando visitei os meus avós na Índia, e vi com os meus próprios olhos como o lixo electrónico contamina severamente o ambiente, " disse Perry.
"I started to interest for water purification when I visited my grandparents in India, and I saw with my own eyes how the electronic waste severely contaminates the environment," said Perry.

Ontem foi tempo para a entrega da versão do prémio para pessoas adultas, ou seja o Stockholm Water Prize. O vencedor deste ano foi o indiano Rejendra Singh pelo seu trabalho inovador com a água da chuva e pelos seus esforços contínuos para melhorar as condições de vida das pessoas mais vulneráveis, melhorando a segurança da água na Índia Rural. O prémio foi entregue pelo Rei Carl Gustaf.
Yesterday it was time to deliver the award version for adults, ie the Stockholm Water Prize. Antes da cerimónia, o Rei e Victoria participaram no seminário "Rainwater - o Céu é o limite". Este ano foi precisamente Rejendra Singh o orador. O tema focou-se na gestão inteligente das águas da chuva, onde o orador explica como utiliza uma tecnologia antiga para a recolha e armazenamento de água. Estas técnicas era posteriores à ocupação colonial britânica na Índia, mas são usadas agora novamente para trazer água às regiões mais secas da Índia.
Before the ceremony, the King and Victoria attended the seminar "Rainwater - the sky is the limit." This year the speaker was precisely Rejendra Singh. The theme focused on the intelligent management of rainwater, where the speaker explains how to use an old technology to the collection and storage of water.   1. Adoro o simbolismo da garrafa de água. Tenho aprendido tanto com esta nova vertente do T&T. Obrigada mais uma vez a ideia é excelente. Isto é que é criar cidadãos para um futuro sustentável. Dizer nas aulas de educação cívica que é muito importante respeitar o ambiente é muito lindo mas "entra por um ouvido e sai por outro". É importante estimular e colocar desafios práticos como este. Os jovens têm tantas distrações e focos de atenção que só desta forma se podem interessar por um projecto ambiental ou social. Aprende-se muito sobre a cultura e as preocupações de cada país com estes projectos. Marisa
