Ontem a Casa Real Sueca anunciou a segunda gravidez da Princesa Sofia. O 6º neto do Rei e Rainha da Suécia deverá nascer em Setembro.
O segundo bebé do Príncipe Carl Philip e da Princesa Sofia vem juntar-se ao Príncipe Alexander, nascido a 19 de Abril de 2016. Na ocasião foi divulgada uma nova fotografia da família. E um breve comunicado:
Yesterday the Swedish Royal House announced the second pregnancy of Princess Sofia. The 6th grandchild of the King and Queen of Sweden is expected to be born in September.
The second child of Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia is joining Prince Alexander, born on April 19, 2016. At the time a new photograph of the family was released. And a brief statement.
"Estamos muito felizes em anunciar que a aguardamos a chegada de um bebé, um irmão ou irmã para o Príncipe Alexander. Estamos desejosos de dar as boas-vindas ao novo pequeno membro da nossa família."
"We are happy to announce that we are expecting a child, a sibling to Prince Alexander. We are looking forward to welcoming a new little member to our family."
Duas coisas a dizer: Já desconfiava que Sofia estava grávida. Alexander é uma completa delicia e puxa totalmente o lado da mãe.
Two things to say: I suspected Sofia was pregnant. Alexander is soooo cute and totally pulls his mother's side.
E à semelhança do que aconteceu com Victoria em 2015, a gravidez de Sofia foi anunciada antes de um evento de gala. Segundo uma teoria bem T&T, as princesas suecas devem experimentar os seus vestidos e pensam: "Hum, não! Não vai dar! Vamos ter que anunciar!". Ou talvez não...
And similar to what happened to Victoria in 2015, Sofia's pregnancy was announced ahead of a gala event. According to a well-known T & T theory, Swedish princesses should try their gowns and think, "Um, no, it's not going to happen! We have to announce!" Or maybe not...
A ocasião de gala no Palácio Real foi um jantar oficial oferecido pelo Rei Carl Gustaf e pela Rainha Silvia para representantes do Corpo Diplomático, Parlamento, Governo, e ainda figuras ligadas às áreas da ciência, desporto, negócios, cultura. Os convidados foram recebidos pelo Rei, Rainha na presença da Princesa da Coroa Victoria, Príncipe Daniel, Príncipe Carl Philip e Princesa Sofia. O jantar foi servido na Galeria Karl XI que estava com uma decoração primaveril sublime!
The gala occasion at the Royal Palace was an official dinner hosted by King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia for representatives of the Diplomatic Corps, Parliament, Government, as well as figures related to science, sport, business and culture. The guests were greeted by the King, Queen in the presence of the Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia. Dinner was served in the Karl XI Gallery which had a sublime spring decor!
A Rainha Sílvia usou um vestido de renda azul meia noite que completou com uma encharpe de seda do mesmo tom. Silvia usou a Tiara Connaught.
Queen Sylvia wore a midnight blue lace dress that completed with a silk scarf of the same shade. Silvia used Tiara Connaught.
Victoria usou um velho favorito. Um vestido completamente bordado a lantejoulas Elie Saab. Bem sei que foi o meu look favorito em 2012, mas hoje olho para o vestido e vejo uma árvore de Natal. Não gosto! Mas...olá esmeraldas!!!!! Victoria voltou a usar o fantástico colar de diamantes e esmeraldas que vimos com este vestido em 2012. A futura Rainha da Suécia usou a tiara Laureal Wreath da Princesa Lilian. Também não gostei da escolha de tiara aqui. Falta volume a este look...Entendem? Está tudo demasiado triangular...Não? Passemos à frente...
Victoria used an old favorite. A dress completely embroidered with sequins by Elie Saab. Well I know it was my favorite look in 2012, but today I look at the dress and see a Christmas tree. I do not like it! But ... hello emeralds!!!!! Victoria wore again the fantastic diamond and emerald necklace we saw with this dress in 2012. The future Queen of Sweden wore Princess Lilian's Laureal Wreath tiara. I also did not like the tiara choice here. Lack of volume to this look ... Do you understand? It's all too triangular ... No? Never mind ...
SOFIA!!!! A futura mamã está deslumbrante! Penso que é seguro dizer que este é o meu look favorito de gala para Sofia até agora! Um vestido bastante simples mas que lhe assenta na perfeição. O cabelo está solto, mas todo trabalhado atrás. Sofia voltou a usar o Bandeau de Aço, que pensávamos que seria propriedade de Victoria. Pelos vistos não, já que é a segunda vez que Sofia opta por esta peça. A melhor da noite para mim! O decote merecia um colar, mas temos tempo Sofia, temos tempo!!
SOFIA!!!! The future mom is gorgeous! I think it's safe to say that this is my favorite gala look for Sofia so far! A very simple dress but that suits her perfectly. The hair is loose, but all worked behind. Sofia wore once again the Steel Bandeau, which we thought would be Victoria's property. Apparently not, since it is the second time Sofia opts for this piece. The best of the night for me! The neckline deserved a necklace, but we have time Sofia, we have time !!

This is Sofia's best look, the color is absolutely stunning and the style suits her beautifully, however the tiara is not my favourite. But i have to say that she looks so much better with the hair down :-)
