A Rainha atrevida está de volta! / The Sassy Queen is back!
A Rainha de Espanha já nos provou vezes sem conta que não é uma Rainha convencional no que toca a estilo. Letizia gosta de surpreender (há quem diga até chocar!) quando aparece em determinado evento. Houve uma altura da nossa História em que a única maneira que as mulheres tinham para se expressarem era através das suas roupas, acessórios e penteados.
Em muitos aspectos, e mesmo para uma mulher com uma enorme capacidade de comunicação e expressão como Leti, ainda vejo o estilo dessa perspectiva: uma forma de expressão.
The Queen of Spain has proved to us over and over again that she is not a conventional Queen in style. Letizia likes to surprise (some people say even shock!) when she attends certain events. There was a time in our history when the only way for women to express themselves was through their clothes, accessories and hairstyles.
In many respects, and even for a woman with an enormous capacity for communication and expression like Leti, I still see style of this perspective: a form of expression.
A Rainha de Espanha compareceu na passada Terça-feira à 39ª edição da entrega dos Prémios SM de Literatura Infantil e Juvenil (Prémio "O Barco a Vapor" e o Prémio "Gran Angular" respectivamente). Estes galardões patrocinados pela Fundação SM promovem desde 1978 entre crianças e jovens o gosto pela leitura e a difusão dos valores humanos, sociais, culturais e religiosas que contribuem para um mundo digno. Os vencedores vêm aqui a oportunidade para as suas obras serem editadas e publicadas além de um prémio monetário de 35.000 euros.
The Queen of Spain attended the 39th edition of the SM Prizes for Children and Youth Literature (Prize "El Barco a Vapor" and the Grand Angular Prize, respectively) on Tuesday. These awards sponsored by the SM Foundation since 1978 have promoted children's and young people's taste for reading and spreading the human, social, cultural and religious values that contribute to a dignified world. The winners have here the opportunity for their works to be edited and published in addition to a monetary prize of 35,000 euros.
Os vencedores deste ano do Prémio "O Barco a Vapor" foi Roberto Aliaga pelo seu livro "Como arreglar un libro mojado" enquanto que Fátima Embark Ali e Maria Mercedes Murillo co-autoras de "Siempre será Diciembre" foram as vencedores do Prémio Juvenil "Gran Angular".
This year's winners for the "El Barco a Vapor" Prize was Roberto Aliaga for his book "Como arreglar un libro mojado" while Fátima Embark Ali and Maria Mercedes Murillo co-authors of "Siempre será Diciembre" were the winners for the "Grand Angular" Prize.
Este ano a Fundação SM estende a convocatória destes prémios a todos os países onde a Fundação está presente: Argentina, Brasil, Chile, Colômbia, Espanha, México, Perú, Porto Rico e República Dominicana, promovendo as obras literárias em línguas como o castelhano, catalão e português.
This year, the SM Foundation extends the call for these awards to all countries where the Foundation is present: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Spain, Mexico, Peru, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic, promoting literary works in languages such as Castilian, Catalan and Portuguese.
Na sua intervenção Letizia disse:
In her speech Letizia said:
" Estes Prémios são sempre a desculpa perfeita e a razão mais conveniente em que posso pensar para falar sobre livros e histórias. Para a criação, com suas metáforas, é uma maneira muito interessante de conhecer a realidade (...) Os vencedores deste ano não têm nada em comum, mas compartilham algo essencial: escondem muitos segredos. E os segredos por vezes escondem a verdade. Embora às vezes os segredos fazem-nos abrir portas e chegar a lugares onde, se estivermos despertos e aproveitarmos, encontramos o tesouro que realmente importa e que é conhecer-nos melhor. Os segredos enterrados nos dois livros de hoje são deste tipo - contêm tesouros".
"These awards are always the perfect excuse and the most convenient reason I can think of to talk about books and stories. For its creation, with its metaphors, is a very interesting way of knowing reality. (...) This year's winners have nothing in common but their share something special: they hide secrets. Secrets sometimes hide the truth. Although sometimes the secrets make us open doors and reach places where, if we are awake and enjoy ourselves, we find the most important treasure that is to know ourselfs better. The secrets buried in these two books of today are of this kind - they contain treasures."
E falando em modo de expressão, o que dizer do look de Letizia?
And speaking in terms of expression, what about Letizia's look?
A Rainha atrevida está de volta. Eu achei que ela estava muito bem. A combinação de peças simples onde a blusa branca deixando a descoberto os ombros da Rainha de Espanha foi a estrela da noite, num look combinado com acessórios prata.
The sassy Queen is back. I thought she was fine. The combination of simple pieces where the white blouse revealing the shoulders of the Queen of Spain was the star of the night, in a look combined with silver accessories.
Mas a verdadeira estrela deste look foi mesmo o penteado de Letizia. Ligeiramente ondulado emoldurou perfeitamente os ombros a descoberto da esposa de Felipe VI!

But the real star of this look was in fact Letizia's hairstyle. A slightly wavy hair framed the uncovered shoulders of FelipeVI's wife perfectly!
